I’m a Nigerian entrepreneur, business coach, and six figure course launch agency owner. In 2015, I moved to the Caribbean on a full-ride scholarship to study medicine.

In no time, my skills grew, and so did my prices. In 2019, I was making over $5,000 a month regularly. But I still had one problem.
You see, I still couldn’t sell anything online. With Payoneer, I still had no payment gateway. That means I had to speak with every customer and send them an invoice before I could receive money.
This automatically put a limit on the growth of my business. Any model that requires you to trade time for money and leaves no room for automation is very difficult to scale.
I HAD TO get a payment gateway.
None of the tutorials, advice, tips or tricks that I found online would work for me. Paypal and Stripe were NOT available in my country and I was left to look for my own solutions.
I discovered that if I registered my business in the U.S. as an LLC, I would immediately have access to the payment gateways I wanted. I was very happy because it felt like I had finally made progress.
My happiness turned to sadness when I tried to actually start the registration process and all the agencies I reached out to were charging ridiculously expensive fees.
Stripe Atlas was another option, but it was application only and the waitlist procedure was taking too long.
In quarter three of 2019, I decided it was enough and I started to do my own research.
